🔍 What the Meeting Will Address
Feldenkrais4Life will present a selection of results emerging from the project’s surveys and pilot training activities.
Two central questions will guide the session:
a) How does Feldenkrais fit into the world of somatic health disciplines?
Data from the 2024 survey offer insights into the current profile of Feldenkrais practitioners, including their capacity to network, collaborate with other professionals, and contribute to their professional associations.
b) What are the opportunities and challenges for integrating somatic disciplines into prevention and health care?
What are the challenges and potential pathways for integrating the Feldenkrais Method into the care of patients with fibromyalgia and chronic pain?
Pilot training experiences involving physicians and Feldenkrais practitioners reveal both strengths and obstacles—ranging from differing professional cultures and languages to the limited availability of clinical research supporting the Method.
Despite these barriers, shared training environments emerge as powerful opportunities to build a more holistic and integrated vision of health across disciplines.
🌐 Featuring Contributions From
• Feldenkrais Education Platform – expanding visibility and accessibility of the Method
• MIBES Academy – a new e-learning platform promoting integrated care for healthcare and complementary medicine professionals
• European Commission Joint Research Centre (JRC) – insights into health and mental health research at EU level
• IFF Research Group – ongoing efforts to collect scientific literature on the Feldenkrais Method
We would be delighted to have you with us for this important exchange.
Feel free to invite colleagues from other somatic disciplines or any stakeholder who may be interested.
The more perspectives we gather, the richer our dialogue will be.
Warm regards,
The Feldenkrais4Life Team
